This is a new Art School.

After four years at The Glasgow School of Art, gathering the skills of pattern cutting and tailoring, the conceptual storytelling that Fashion Design teaches us is that clothing, can mean a whole lot more. Every choice should be considered when a garment determines a day.

Creative Director and Founder, Charlie Stewart graduated in 2023 with the collection:

The emancipation of the Modern Man was a success, a winner of its class, earning an invitation to the Best Of Show at London Graduate Fashion Week.

The Hardwork Begins...

Put off by the idea of unpaid internships in the capital, instead we opted for hosting our own fashion shows in Glasgow, designing for the red carpet while bringing the vision of Charlemagne to life. Inspired by the idea of creating opportunities for oneself, rather than waiting for that Fashion House to offer a role, this drive can take you wherever you want to go.

To date, we've sold out our two annual shows:

Hosted at SneakersER, we launched the highly successful Black Label and Chips Golf collections, simultaneously.

In 2025, and to this day...

You would begin to find our collections in stores across Glasgow, Finnieston Clothing, a soon institution of the city has been huge supporters of our brand, they're a team who we'll forever admire, inspiring Charlemagne to join them in creating garments that will last a lifetime. Through their stores, we've reached a whole new audience.

In the summer of 2025, Charlemagne and Chips Golf took part in Macmillan's Longest Day Challenge, playing 100 holes in a day, raising £2000 for those fighting cancer.
